FROM ARTWORK TO THREAD

Your first stitch-out

  1. Design. Add lettering, shapes, or a clean SVG/PNG logo. Keep small lettering bold and readable. Select a layer to edit its size; Shift-click selects more.
  2. Prepare. Choose fabric and apply starting settings. Fit to hoop reserves space at the edges. Basting adds a removable outline before the design.
  3. Check. Generate stitches. Inspect holes, crossings, and tiny details. Play the sewing sequence and review the quality messages. Smaller row spacing means denser stitching.
  4. Sew. Download PES and the sewing sheet. Copy PES to a compatible USB drive, recall it on the SE700, and test on matching scrap. Use the sheet for spool order.

Wireless transfer uses Brother Design Database Transfer on a compatible Windows PC. Good Sew does not connect directly to the machine.

Digital previews cannot predict fabric distortion or thread tension. Jump threads may need manual cutting. PES palette colors are approximations of your chosen spools.
